福氣臨門

店名The name

福氣臨門，由九龍到列治文。Good fortune, from Kowloon to Richmond.

「福臨」，取福氣降臨之意；「九龍」，是香港那個茶樓、大牌檔與酒家林立的半島。菜單走的，就是那一路的味道：早上一盅兩件，中午一碗生滾粥，晚上一碟鑊氣小炒，到一家人齊齊整整的一席。

Fuk Lam means good fortune arriving; Kowloon is the Hong Kong peninsula of teahouses, street stalls and banquet halls. The menu follows that road — tea and a basket or two in the morning, congee at noon, something fierce off the wok at night, and a full table of courses when the whole family comes.
